LPG & CNG CONVERSIONS - SERVICE - KITS - PARTS

Hendrix Industrial Gastrux, Inc. has been in business since 1950, when Cleve Hendrix, a pioneer in the liquid propane and compressed natural gas conversions field, first opened its doors.  Since then, we have been designing and manufacturing LPG and CNG conversions with each system being engineered to a specific engine. For automobiles, our systems are specific to the make and model making installations easier and more efficient.

Todd Hendrix, Cleve's son and current owner of Hendrix Industrial Gastrux, worked at Hendrix while growing up and has worked in every capacity. In 1978, Todd attended Southern Illinois University where he obtained a degree in Aviation Technology and an airframe power plant mechanics license. In 1984, after 2 years of working as a helicopter mechanic, Todd returned to his roots and took over the family business.

"I have seen many changes in the industry since I’ve been involved, but as the saying goes, 'the more things change, the more they stay the same.'”

Hendrix is no exception. The company started by doing conversions on forklifts, generators, small engines and vehicles back in the 50’s and continue to do so now. However, our customer base continues to grow due to the increasing demand of EPA regulations, people’s increasing recognition of environmental concerns and LPG/CNG's ability to reduce greenhouse gases relative to gasoline, and of course, LPG/CNG as a low-cost alternative to rising gasoline prices.

Hendrix Industryial Gastrux supplies customers all over the United States, as well as Canada, Mexico, Japan and Australia, to name just a few of the places where we distribute our LPG and CNG systems.

At Hendrix, we pride ourselves on our service and commitment to our customers, as well as a staff with a combined 60+ years of knowledge and experience.
